White clouds over orange shirts.

Another wonder of nature that i enjoy taking a shot of are clouds - clouds in the setting sun, in the clear blue sky and even in the silent moonlight. This one, in particular, was taken a few months back in Bilibid prison, Muntinlupa.
It was a beautiful day then. We were going 40 on a dirt road shaded by trees on each sides where glimpses of sunlight pass through. The wind blew gently and the clouds settled like waves of cotton sheets.
It was funny, really, to see something extravagant over a prison. Honestly and personally, prison scenes, imagined or unimagined, fiction or not, never quite made it, even, as something normal. Yes we have crime, justice for crime and even the criminals; but seeing the prison right there in front of me was something absolutely new considering my knowledge of its existence.
It was, also, ironic. The prison itself was seemingly something else. The same could be said with the prisoners and the same could be impressed upon the atmosphere there. Criminals were not caged in cells, culture is encouraged and remorse is prevalent. It was completely contrary to everything you could possibly imagine in a prison.
So it was, it was and it was.
But if you ask me, it was really all about the clouds. Some may say God still has grace for them, some may say its a natural phenomena, some may even say that it was just there, but i would say that i had to stop my car, take that shot and think that theres beauty in everything. even in prison.
